Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

At The Gift by Janel, we take pride in creating handcrafted body care products designed to elevate your self-care experience. Please review our policy below for important information regarding shipping, returns, and exchanges.

Order Processing

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. During high-volume launches, promotions, or holidays, processing times may be slightly extended.

Shipping Information

Shipping rates and available delivery options are calculated at checkout based on your location and selected shipping method.

Estimated delivery times are provided by the carrier and may vary due to weather conditions, holidays, or carrier delays beyond our control.

We currently offer domestic shipping within the United States and limited international shipping to select countries. International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees required by their country.

Body Butter Temperature Advisory

Our whipped body butters are handcrafted with nourishing oils and butters that may soften or melt during warmer months or when exposed to high temperatures during transit.

Please retrieve packages promptly upon delivery. If melting occurs, place the product at room temperature or refrigerate briefly to allow it to solidify before use. Product texture may change slightly, but quality and performance will remain unaffected.

Melting due to heat exposure during shipping is not considered a defective product.

Returns & Exchanges

Due to the personal nature of skincare and body products, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on opened or used items.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 2 days of delivery at info@thegiftbyjanel.com with your order number and clear photos of the issue so we can assist you promptly.

Eligible approved returns must:

  • Be unused and unopened
  • Be in original packaging
  • Be approved by our support team prior to return

Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

Refunds

Once an approved return is received and inspected, refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow 3–5 business days for your financial institution to process and post the refund.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.

Exchanges

If you would like a different item, we recommend placing a new order after your original return request has been approved.
