At The Gift by Janel, we are committed to providing a smooth, reliable, and enjoyable shopping experience. Please review our Shipping Policy carefully for important information regarding order processing, delivery timelines, and temperature-sensitive products.

Order Processing

All orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days, excluding weekends and holidays.

During high-volume launches, restocks, promotions, or holiday periods, processing times may be slightly extended. Customers will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once the order has been fulfilled.

Shipping Methods & Delivery

We offer multiple shipping options at checkout to best fit your delivery needs. Shipping rates and estimated delivery timelines are calculated based on your location and selected shipping method.

Please note:

  • Delivery estimates are provided by the shipping carrier and are not guaranteed
  • Carrier delays due to weather, holidays, or operational issues may occur
  • The Gift by Janel is not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier once a package has been accepted into transit

International Shipping

We currently offer international shipping to select countries.

International customers are responsible for:

  • Customs duties
  • Import taxes
  • VAT fees
  • Additional delivery charges imposed by their country

International delivery timelines may vary depending on customs processing and destination country regulations.

Incorrect Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout.

The Gift by Janel is not responsible for:

  • Orders shipped to incorrectly entered addresses
  • Packages delayed due to incomplete address information
  • Returned packages caused by address errors submitted by the customer

If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, additional shipping fees may apply for reshipment.

Body Butter Temperature Advisory

Our whipped body butters and sugar scrubs are handcrafted using nourishing oils and butters that may naturally soften or melt during warmer temperatures or extended transit times.

To help preserve product texture and consistency:

  • Please retrieve packages promptly after delivery
  • Avoid leaving packages outdoors or in hot environments for extended periods
  • If melting occurs, allow the product to return to room temperature or refrigerate briefly before use

Texture changes caused by heat exposure do not affect product quality or performance and are not considered defective products.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 2 days of delivery at:

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the product and packaging
  • A brief description of the issue

We will review your request and work with you to provide a replacement, store credit, or refund when applicable.

Lost or Stolen Packages

The Gift by Janel is not responsible for packages marked as “Delivered” by the shipping carrier.

If you believe your package has been lost or stolen, we recommend:

  • Checking with neighbors or household members
  • Contacting the shipping carrier directly
  • Verifying the shipping address provided at checkout
