While our paw butters are made with gentle, nourishing ingredients, every dog is unique, especially those with sensitive skin or allergies. To ensure the product is a perfect fit, we always recommend performing a simple patch test before full use.

How to Do a Patch Test – Step by Step
 1. Pick a Small, Hidden Spot
Choose an inconspicuous area, like the inside of your pets ear flap or a small spot on the paw pad.
 2. Clean the Area
Gently wipe the spot with a damp cloth to remove dirt and oils. Be sure to dry thoroughly.
 3. Apply a Small Amount
Use just a tiny dab of the product and massage it gently into the area.
 4. Monitor for 24–48 Hours
Keep an eye on the area for any signs of irritation, including:
 • Redness or swelling
 • Excessive licking, scratching, or rubbing
 • Bumps, rash, or visible discomfort
5. Check the Results
 • If the area stays clear and irritation-free, you’re good to go!
 • If you notice any reaction, gently wash the area with warm water and discontinue use.
